What is the LYS Beauty Satin Matte Cream Blush?
Typically in my product reviews I take some time to go over things like ingredients and what the product aims to do, but that is more relevant for skincare products. So, a quick description of what the LYS blush is is that it is a cream blush that has a satin-matte finish and is super buildable. I also want to mention that LYS Beauty is black-owned and is also clean and vegan!
Pros
I have so much to say about how much I'm loving this blush! I originally purchased it because I was looking for a peachy-coral blush for the summer time that would give the perfect sun-kissed/burnt look, and let me tell you, this shade (Kindness) is exactly that! I was worried that it would show up too light on my light-medium Asian skin, but it blended and melted into my skin super well.

I think it's important to mention the size of the product. I was expecting something fairly small since the price tag ($22) was pretty affordable compared to other blushes at Sephora, but it is so much bigger than I thought it'd be! Think equilateral triangle with side length ~3 inches? Or the size of the triangle you make with your thumbs and index fingers (though I have pretty small hands)?
Another plus is that it has LOTS of staying power. Not only does it last really well during a regular day, I even wore it on a rainy day and it still lasted better than I could've ever imagined.
I also loved the formula of it - it was definitely a bit on the softer/creamier side, especially with the overall heat of the summer, but it blended really well and it really felt like it was melting into my skin rather than sitting on top of it. The pigmentation was also really awesome! One of the reasons I love cream products is because I feel like it's much easier to control the amount of product being applied to achieve a certain level of pigmentation, and from my time using this blush, I find it to be really versatile in terms of giving a low-key blush look or a full-out blushed up look.

Cons
I thought long and hard about any possible cons for this blush, or really even any room for improvement. I genuinely have no complaints or suggestions for the product itself (except more shades for me to try please!) but I might prefer having something more sturdy than a magnetic closure on the packaging (though I understand some people may have trouble with a more robust closing system). Especially for the price, this product is everything I wanted it to be and more!

So excited to try out other shades of this blush and other products from LYS Beauty. I would absolutely recommend people try this brand (and specifically this blush) out, its killer, and relatively affordable. The packaging is also super unique!
